Hey I don't think it is the focus I think Apple screwed something up big time 
in Mavericks with bluetooth as my old Logitech keyboard which worked fine in 
Mountain Lion does not work in Mavericks and after researching it have 
discovered that several several people are having bluetooth issues in 
Mavericks. Not sure what has happened to Apple, but considering all the bugs 
Mavericks was released with maybe it wasn't ready for public release. Quite 
frustrating as I now spend half my time dealing with computer issues. Hope you 
find a solution.
