Hi Reggie,

The method by which one reads Mail seems to be a personal preference. I prefer
to turn the Preview pane off, stay in the newer modern view, arrow through my
messages and press return to open them. When I press return, the subject and
senders name are announced again then the message body read out by VO. If it
is a conversation, all messages in that thread are opened when the return key
is pressed. I can then simply Stop Interacting with the first message that was
opened and use VO-right and VO-left to read all the messages in the thread. If
I wish to delete the message that I'm currently reading, I just press the
Delete key and VO will start reading the next message in the thread. As I
said, this works great for me, but others have expressed a preference of using
the VO-j method as the subject and sender are not re-voiced.

HTH.
