Hi

In case others is struggling with how to open Time Machine in Finder to browse
for specific files. To put Time Machine in Finder, hit cmd + space, type Time
Machine, hit enter, a weired sound follows, it is many Finder windows that
splashes and you ar inside Time Machines hard drive, hit vo - command + home
and close with vo + space. Then, you will find Time Machine in the side bar in
Finder. You may have to hit command + , to open Finder preferences and chose
external hard drives, journal machines and server to show up in the side panel.
The same procedure can be done by checkmark «show Time Machine in the menu»
option in System preferences, Time Machine. Then you will find Time Machine in
the system menu beside the clock somewhere.

It is the backups.backupdb map you need to look for to browse your backuped
files. Personally i could only find backups from 2014 because i forgot my
password to the 2013 backup, but it looks like it is possible to browse other
backups like we thought. Just change disk in System preferences, Time Machine.
I believe also that the disk you chose in system preferences, Time Machine is
the disk you command + r into during start up. You will only see one disk here
in Time Machine backup.

Take care
