Can’t wait to hear if a clean install fixes your issues Alex. Please let us 
know, as these mail problems have gotten so annoying. Do you use gmail in mac 
mail, as I know that is the problem. Although today I am having a lot of 
problems with choppiness in Pages. Ended up getting so annoyed I just powered 
down everything with the power button and of course now I am getting a ton of 
busy messages in every application.
