Dear All. I think I have found out the answer why you can’t do anything with the Downcast app. However, I need confirmation of the following.
First, when I bought the App, some time last year I think, when I think Nic was singing its praises, I decided to get it because Downcast was so neat on the I phone and iTunes on the Mac was crap for podcasts. So at the time I got it, in the file menu, it was easy to add podcasts for your listening pleasure. Now, Nic, as you had the app first, can you tell me, was there a search box in the app, where you could type what you wanted and when you pressed enter, a list of podcasts would come up and you’d stop interacting and vo right to the add button? I have killed my app using terminal because when I try and sync my I cloud preferences so I only use the I phone to sync what I have, the app becomes busy and it locks up. I had to destroy what was in the downcast containers. However, if I try and do what I use to do with downcast, there is no search box and you can’t use the file menu to add podcasts or to search for podcasts which makes me think the app has changed. I hope Nic you can tell me if the app has changed. Kawal.
