Hey all, Sorry for the off topic post, but I have been trying to get described video for the past year and a half, and realized we had a tiro post recently, so just wanted to see if anyone with a Tivo has been able to get described video with it? If so, please feel free to email me off list and tel lmd how.
I have spoken to Tivo several times, and they are clueless when it comes to described video. I am in New York City so should be receiving it. I have searched google several times and found nothing. None of the blind orbs tell you much about how to get described video. I have had sighted people look at my tiro and tv settings and set my Tivo to receive secondary audio programming when available and still nothing. I hit my ultimate frustration tonight when I came across a Tivo board of a ton of sighted people who have been getting the described video feed, and can’t get rid of it. Great so the sighted people can’t get rid of it, and the blind people can’t get it, and this went in to affect almost two years ago.
