Hello Les,

To reset the PRAM, shut down your computer then hold down the Command, Option, 
‘p’ and ‘r’ keys before pressing the On/Off button. Keep the four keys held 
down until you’ve heard the start up chime four times, then let the machine 
boot as normal.
