it works like any encrypted wifi connection, type the password once and it should connect automatically from then on.

Best wishes for Christmas and 2014 Chris

Hi Gigi,

Does the password need to be entered every time or just once? Personal Hot
Spot is included now with our shared data plan with Verizon, and I'd like to
use my Braille Sense u2 when we go away next month. Thanks.

Les

OOkay, let me see if I can remember it all. What you get it set up it's simple as
pie. First, turn Wi-Fi on on your iPhone. Then turn Bluetooth on. Then go to
personal hotspot and "settings, you will notice several choices after you've
turned it on. One of the choices is Wi-Fi, and that's the one I did. Now there is
this horrible code you have to put in to your Mac. It is on your iPhone screen and
you have to do it character by character.

Go in to the extras menu with the voiceover keys and the letter M twice. Then VO
left or right arrow until you get to Wi-Fi. Press the VO space on that. Then you
have to go down until your Mac says Owner's iPhone and choose that. Then you have to
get the choices and type in that awful code. From now on you have a network that
says Owner's iPhone so that if you don't Internet Wi-Fi your iPhone can let you use
your cellular data minutes. I have a lot of them so it's not a problem. Now you can
use Safari on your computer and send emails on your computer. You ask why can't you
just use your iPho"? Well, if you have some files to attach like I did you can
use your to send them just like any other Wi-Fi. It's fast, too if your cell
connection is good.

Hi guys.
I just wanted to share with those Apple folks that I know are on this list that
I absolutely adore the personal hot spot feature on the iPhone in IOS 7. It has
saved me twice so far from not being able to get material to my customer in a
timely manner. Thanks so much!!!

Regards,
Gigi
