Hi I consulted with the Google and folowed one advice to put the actual VmWare Fusion install on the LaCie Rubbed 160GB SSD External and install it from there. I downloaded the installation file as normal and copied it to the LaCie. I chosed the easy install, but needed to point to the LaCie disk and chose the option to modify. Then i had problems, VmWare could not find correct drivers from the DVD. So i took a chance and connected the hard drive used for the Boot Camp installation. On this drive there are Windows drivers installed by the Boot Camp assistant. And it worked. So so surprised i was, it works. Listened to Neil Young from a streaming service while Windows installed itself. So cool.
The Windows machine restart from desktop within 35 seconds. This is good. Because within this time i fill in my log in password manually. 1 core processor, only 2GB RAM. I gave the machine 2 core processors and 10GB RAM. No difference in restart time. I only tried once though. Web browsing is like on the mac in terms of speed. $250 SSD in Norwegian valuta and you get a fast windows. Soon SSD will be even faster and cheaper and bigger.
