Yes, I've done this. I'm pretty sure it's in notification settings. I apologise I can't go digging around Facebook settings to find the exact spot for you, but I'm sure with some tinkering you'll get there. Between the differences between the mobile and desktop versions, and the fact that Facebook seems to change everything every few months or so, the settings are probably not where I last found them anyway.
