Hi Mary.. I have an opticbook 4800, I can not find a driver that works on the mac exept for vuescan, but it is very slow, and I get terrible scanning results with vuescan I do not know why.
I also love book edge scanners, and there are not many of them on the market. If you have a plustek optikbook 3800 and the driver works, I think it will work with finereader, because this driver is just a driver without any software. I downloaded one for my opticbook 4800 it is a beta, and it does not find any scanner on my mac. Best regards Annie.
