Hi all, 1st off, I relies that this is going to be a subjective question but am
looking for opinions/recommendations on which you think is the best english
premium voices in Mavericks and ios7 for hearing in pared users.

Currently, I am trying out the voices that one gets with the iOS devices and
know that there are more to choose from in Mavericks but the idea is that I
want to get comfortable with a particular voice and then I can take across iOS
and osx a like and even on that other OS that I won’t mention here but you get
the idea.

The voices are:
British english - Daniel
US English - Samantha
South Aferickan english - Tessa
Irish english - Moria
and finally
 Australia english - Karen

So far, I am going between
Daniel and Tessa I like the sound of Karen but her voice is a bit strong and
hard to get use to. As for Samantha’s voice, don’t even get me started on her
accent its too strong for me and most of the time I find that her voice goes in
one ear and out the other if you know what I mean. I have tried to use her but
can’t cope with her. lol

I look forward to hearing what you all have to say. Seriously, I would value
all of your opinions and if you have any good advice to give to someone trying
out new voices then I would be interested to hear it because at the moment I
feel like I’m just trying one and then switching to another and back again. If
anyone has a sort of process that would recommend in how to try and adapt to a
new TTS voice then I would be grateful if you would share it to this list in
order that I and others can hopefully learn from it.

Thank you

Daniel -
