Hi. My mother would like if she could scan some smaller books and papers for me. She has a mac. I will of course help her to set up a bootcamp if it is necessarry. I would only like her to scan as tif or pdf and when I can recognize with finereader 11 professional on the windows side of things. My question is can she make good scans on the mac, which program is the easist for her to use, would vuescan be good enough if so can anybody tell me the correct settings. She is not good at computing, so she will need to have an easy way to do things.
I ask because I have some mixed results with vuescan. Sometimes I get better results on windows side of things with finereader 11.
