Yes Ricardo, you are correct that the iCloud Keychain service is off by 
default.  A couple further notes, in order to get at these passwords, the 
person would have to first either get past your computer password, your Apple 
ID password on the iCloud site or past your iDevice passcode.  It is, of 
course, possible that a user could have their computer or iDevice not secured 
properly either thus giving easier access to the Keychain.  The Keychain is 
encrypted so is not necessarily easy to crack even if you figure out the 
passcode.  There is, though, the possibility of simply trying some web-sites 
from the users history to see if they’ve are a part of your saved passwords.  
Some proper security protocols should certainly virtually eliminate this threat.

I am a very trusting person though and may be considered naive, so don’t take 
my opinions as gospel.
