Admittedly, yes, I’m also using a keyboard. My opinion is that you’ll probably have to do quite a lot of customizing to use a Braille display as a primary keyboard.
For switching apps, I’d probably map a braille keystroke to VO-applications list. (VO-f1 twice quickly)I don’t think there’s an easy way to map one to command-tab.
