Hi there I think I like the Empty Cell option because if there were a space in there that you didn't know about and it mattered, the word blank would give the wrong information, unless it said space. This is a minor point because there is a more serious issue, although I like the new Numbers. If you press command option i, VoiceOver no longer says Inspector. I found out it's up there, but I can't figure out how to get there. I found out a workaround by pasting in from another cell so the one I wanted to change had the correct characteristics I needed. The Inspector is in the menu, but you can't get to the choices as far as I can tebbl with the menu. It looks like the menu just covers what the Inspector will show.
The thing I really like about the new Numbers is that it will keep your place within your files.
