The current version of Audio Hijack Pro, 2.10.8, is not fully compatible with 
Mavricks because of issues with the instant on component.  However, if you go 
here:

You will find beta test versions you can play with and I believe that the soon 
coming version of audio Hijack Pro, 2.10.9, will work just fine as I am using 
it now.
