I rarely launch apps, preferring to just keep them open, but when I do start a
new app it seems to take three to five seconds to load, compared to a max of
two to three seconds (usually much less) before. One major thing I’ve found is
that my Mini now takes ten to twenty seconds to be ready to use when I wake it
up from turning its screen off. That is, I let the screen go to sleep after ten
minutes, and if I press a key after ten minutes it takes forever to be ready to
use. I have now disabled this, so the screen stays on all the time, since it is
a monitor I usually have turned off anyway. Still, it is an odd change.
