Have you tried going to the sounds' preferences on your Mac? I'm assuming that this is happening to your Mac. If it is, if you go to sounds, and then select the output tab, VO-space or tab to the table, you may be able to select whether you want output sounds to go to your speakers or to the headset. If that still doesn't work, try shutting off the machine, and restarting it. If you can't shut it down because of no voice, (I know this is not the greatest for a computer), hold the power down until you hear the computer shutting off, and then wait for a few seconds, and restart the computer like you normally do.
