Hello: For what it is worth, here is my experience with the contacts app in iOS 7. I am using an i phone 5. I was able to enter a new contact with no problem. The only difficulty was that vo took a few seconds to come back after I finished adding the contact. Don't know if that helps identify the problem. Jean
