I don't have a 5s yet, but I have TapTapSee since the update and have so far not had the problem. Have you tried restarting your phone? I have had my 4 S iPhone, like in iTunes Radio last night, insist that I needed the Internet, never mind that I had it already. However, when I restarted my iphone, everything was fine.
