Do you want to replace your iPhoto library with his? If so you can just
replace the /Users/YourAccountName/Pictures/iPhoto Library on your
machine with the one on his. As previously mentioned you can do this
through AirDrop, ThumbDrive, file sharing etc. My wife has the official
family iPhoto library on her machine and every now and then we fling a
copy from her machine to mine for safe keeping (in addition to time
machine backups). The automatic sync through iCloud makes this less
important than it used to be but videos still don't sync through iCloud.

This is what I was thinking. A thumb drive or a CD.

Just put them on a thumb stick, and copy them to it, then put them on your
computer. Otherwise, if there on his phone, then just create a photo
stream, and have them add the photos that way. Once he does, they will show
up on your phone.

Subject: How to share photos from iPhoto
Hello, all. My husband has 290 photos on iPhoto of our vacation to Ireland
two years ago. I want them on my computer. He tried to email them, but is
being told to check his iPhoto preference settings for sending email. (He
has successfully sent individual photos before.) Is there another more
efficient way to share these photos? We have a WiFi connection in the house,
but we have never tried sharing anything between computers. Could someone
offer tips or a link to information for doing this with MacBooks using all
of the latest software?
Christine
