Download your books from the kindle site to your mac. Use the DRM remover from either www.epubsoft.com or www.epubor.com I think I will use the last, I have both. I have also the ultimate converter from epubsoft. You can use commandline to convert with calibre. I always try to avoid calibre I sometimes am lucky to use calibre to convert with without terminal. Sometimes I use ultimate converter. Often with newer books I found a tool called MobiUnpack v0-1.54 or maybe newer. Unpack the mobi file find the folder that is named something with 8 and use the epub file placed in this folder. Best regards Annie.
