Sure. You can open them with that App and jump to the time where you want to start selecting. You can place in and out markers with the letters i and o. The space in the middle of that letters is the selected fragment. Yo I can hit CMD+E and when you export, you just take the selected fragment. Hope it helps, I am here if you need more aclarations.
