Hey Scott and others. Amazing as the Logitech K760 got here today. First
impressions are pretty good. I had been using the Apple Bluetooth keyboard that
comes with the iMac. I notice that this keyboard is a little further raised up
than the Apple keyboard, but I am sure once you get accustomed to it, you won't
even notice it. The touch of the keys are a little different but comfortable.
The Apple keyboard feels much sleeker. If you have been using the Apple
Bluetooth keyboard than the layout of this keyboard is identical, and the keys
feel exactly the same size. The key size was a concern of mine, as some times
they are a little smaller and that really annoyed me on my bluetooth keyboard
that folds up as I was constantly typing a key off at times. The ability to
switch between the mac and iPhone by just pressing F1 and F2 is the reason to
get this keyboard. It switches in seconds once you get them paired. Listen to
David Woodbridge's AppleVis podcast to learn how to pair it, but it is pretty
simple, as I got both the mac and iPhone paired in minutes with little
problems. I believe there is an app or some kind of software for the keyboard,
but I haven't explored that yet. The keyboard was $50 from Amazon, and being
that I rely on a keyboard to do everything, it is nice to now have two in case
anything ever happens to one. Hope this review and feedback was helpful. LEt me
know if you have any questions.
