The developer's web page for CheckBook (and CheckBook Pro) has a PDF user 
manual for CheckBook Help you can download, if you don't use the built-in 
documentation:

There's a section on how to schedule repeating events, but basically you switch 
from the "Entry" radio button to the "Schedule" radio button, and then you can 
set up scheduled deposits of paychecks and debit payments for items like 
utility bills.
