Hey Jonathan, I haven't tried it yet, but have heard good things about Read Kit. With the demise of Newsrack, I have decided in order for me to buy anything, that synching is also important to me. I bought Lire on IOS a month ago, and do really like it, but it doesn't seem to sync with anything on the desktop, so please do let us know if you discover a good synching across platforms.
