Thanks Alex for your reply. What I want to do for now is to be able to upload and download files from my drop boxes on both i phone and mac. So I opened a document that was in my dropbox on my i phone and tapped actions. It said I had to do something in settings to allow it to access my photos. Not sure what is going on, it seems a bit convoluted to me. I think what would help would be a step by step explanation of how to do this in both directions. So the objective is to be able to transfer documents between both devices. I also obtained a program called file drive but I want to use dropbox because of the storage and ability to give access to a third party. All help is most welcome and thanks, Jean
