Hi there,

I know this is more of an IPhone question, but this has become a mystery to
me and I'm seeking a good solution to the problem.

Question. I've had a couple of email accounts going on my IPhone, since I
first got it, with no problems. One of them is my gmail account. Whenever
I'd delete messages from it on my IPhone, it would be no problem and I
wouldn't see them again. I just got back from being out of town, and to my
surprise, when I turned on my computer, all 2000 gmail messages that were
supposedly deleted came up on my computer. Why? No settings on the IPhone
had been changed. What do I need to do to prevent this from happening in
the future?

There was one time last week where I heard my IPhone say something like,
"Messages could not be moved to trash folder." I've not heard that any
more.

This is very sudden. I have always used IMap settings on the phone. If my
computer downloads the messages, there's no problem.

Thanks,

Jim
