Hi, Please also contact @NestMatt on Twitter, which is Matt Rogers, VP of Engineering at Nest.
I don't think the blind community has really reached out besides maybe 1-2 people to Nest. I also have a Nest and agree with your synopsis of its accessibility or lack there of. I am still glad I have the Nest over the previously installed old fashioned round thermostat, but there are many improvements (likely to custom UI) that could be made in the Nest app. You can refer people at Nest to http://bit.ly/ia11ydev which is the Apple iOS accessibility documentation for developers. I use this shortcut a lot on Twitter and if you read through the characters of the URL you may be able to remember it for easier posting. I also have a keyboard shortcut on my iPhone qai that enters the url: http://bit.ly/ia11ydev Best, Mika @pyyhkala On 6/6/13, Donna Goodin <doniado...@me.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > this is more related to i-devices than to the Mac, but I wanted to post, > because I recall that some listers have expressed interest in it. > > My husband and I just got a Nest thermostat.
