Don't mean to crash the party, but the article, on my reading, did not say VoiceOver improvements to "text AND PDF" (and as in A N D), but "text IN PDF" (that is, I N). That means, improvements to the way VoiceOver reads text in PDFs, not how it reads text in other text documents. So, unfortunately, tables and track changes in Pages probably won't be in OS 10.8.4. That said, improvements to VoiceOver in Preview would be very welcome. It's nice to know things are just getting better and better. (He says hoping 10.8.4 doesn't introduce any new bugs)
