Which flavor of the game did you download? Zoom creates an embedded
browser which dumps you to the interactive fiction database. Once you
find a game you like they offer it in several formats for download. You
want to be sure to grab the zmachine version.

side of things. they do have an iOS version of it, but they might
do a mac version as well, I think I remember somebody saying there
