Hi Jürgen, This is odd because it works perfectly for me. I'm sure we must be able to get it to work for you too.
For me, the best way to get mailboxes from my mailbox list into the favourites bar is to use the VO-Period and VO-SHIFT-Period commands. Are you able to describe the steps you've tried and where you have problems? If you here that something may be hidden or blocked, have you tried pressing the VO-SHIFT-F2 command to bring the window to the front?
