Hi, lining up objects with the camera from an iPad is no different than that of an iPhone. The rear facing cameras are located in the same place on both devices. That being said, I think your likely going to get worse OCR results just because the camera isn't as good as the ones found on the iPhone 5 or 4S. Not with tap tap see or looktell though. I am referring to true OCR apps like prizmo or something like that.
