It depends on what version you're running of OSX. If you're in Mountain Lion, then go to the widget you wish to close, and hit vo+command+escape.

If you're in Leopard, Snow Leopard, or Lion, then go to the widget, then hit vo+command+F2. In either case, it will tell you then to press return to close the widget. So, hit return, and boom, it's gone. Then if you want to reopen it, open up your dashboard, then do your vo+F2 F2, go to the widgets bar menu, locate the widget, and hit vo+space on it, and it'll open in the foreground and have focus.

Chris.

Subject: closing dashboard widgets?

Hey guys.
Was just wondering how to close out dashboard widgets? Thanks.
