Kindle audiobooks are just audible audiobooks. But ordinary Kindle books can now be read by VoiceOver, so they can be considered audiobooks in that sense. Of course, I don't think any of us would think of that as being audiobooks. So, in short, they're really just e-books you can read with a screen reader. You can get audible audiobooks for a Kindle device, but I'm not sure they work on the Kindle iOS app. You can use the Audible app or your built-in Music app for that.
