Thanks Chris!  Your information about the lone developer is what I had 
learned too, and the status of VoiceOver support for MathML doesn't seem to 
have changed much in almost a year.  I contacted Chris Bledsoe last year 
for information about Apple's plans regarding support for MathML, and he 
did reply to me.  But I'm still waiting for Apple to move forward on this.
