Hi,
that's not my experience. At least normal sound editing like highlighting, 
deleting, mixing, adding effects and so on works fine for me. 
I don't use mastering features and so I don't know about htem. But all in all 
SF for Mac is quite accessible in terms of my needs.
What I miss a lot compaired to the windows version is the scrub mode using j 
and l. Hopefully they'll implement this feature in version 2.
