I'm attempting to get GarageBand to play nice on my 4s but there are a few
things I can't work out and don't know if it's me or if there is in fact no way
to do them with VoiceOver.

I want to add loops on to separate tracks. This seems to work fine for 1 track
but then I get into trouble. I go to the loop browser, select the loop I want
and then double tap and hold until it gets imported into the project. How can I
ensure a loop goes onto a new track each time? Is there a way to move a loop or
any item for that matter to a specific track? Do I make a new track before
dragging a loop into the project? Some times I don't have to but other times I
do and I can't work out the relevant factors determining this. If so, what kind
of track. Do I use a virtual instrument? How can I ensure the empty new track
will be where the loop arrives? I've had trouble where a new loop will drop in
the middle of an existing track stuffing that track up. I've also found that
sometimes if I put a loop onto an existing track it will show up, all settings
will seem fine but it won't play.

Is there a way to select 2 tracks and merge them with VO? Once I have 2
percussion tracks levels set correctly, I want to bounce both tracks onto 1 so
I can have more tracks to work with. Also, is there a way to actually remove
unused tracks? I will delete all audio off tracks but the tracks remain so I
want to either remove them completely or be able to repurpos them which comes
back to my earlier question regarding loops playing on some tracks and not
others.

I'm aware GB is buggy. Often buttons will disappear, tracks will go dim
visually etc but usually saving and reloading will fix this and at worst, I
select all tracks , make a new project and paste them all in to that.

Any help to any or all questions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Danny.
