Question.  Do you have the correct kind of microphone  plugged in to your 
Griphin Imic?  It cannot acomodate a microphone that is not a power to mic 
unit.  Also, you might want to double check the levels.  With the Griphin, as 
well as any other USB input device, the level will default to zero on the input 
slider until you raise it up.  Once done, it stays where you put it.  So, you 
need to select the Griphin Imic USB device in audio hijack pro.  Now, you need 
to press cmd+r to record.  When done, press cmd+r to stop recording.
