Hello Everyone. I am selling my Essys in due course (as I've been thinking about it for some time) so am in the market for buying another Braille Display when I can afford it.
So, all opinions welcome on what braille displays work well with the Mac and I phone. I am wishing to have opinions on the Focus Blue, and wish to know if this braille display is self cleaning? I want a braille display where I can clean the cells myself without having to send the display away for this service as it can become expensive when you need to have cells clean. Is this so? I'd like to hear good and bad opinions about any display someone might have. I know everyone will have good and bad experiences but I want to know preferably if you can maintain the display, i.e. cleaning the cells yourself as I put lots of cream on my hands to look after them and all these soaps and creams can make the cells dirty and the braille can lose dots because of the dirt.
