Both Carbonite and Crashplan have a thirty-day free trial as far as I know.

      Chris,

I have used Carbonite on Mac's and PC's… Windows XP, 2000, 2003 Server,
2008 Server, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. I also have used it on Mac OSx
Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion…

None of these had any issues whatsoever, with JAWS Pro on the Windows
side and Voice Over on the Mac side.

I've never had an issue and find the control panel perfectly usable.

Well, I knew the service itself was good, but I guess what I meant was
how good is the actual backup Carbinite software from a Voiceover perspective.
I know one person on this list who's name won't be mentioned, who tried it,
and told me that he/she had major major desasterous concequences from doing so.
It seemed, according to them, to have messed things up quite badly. Their
Skype name for the longest time had their name, followed by something to the
effect of don't use Carbinite, it's to blame for my crash, or something of the
like. I don't remember word per word. I was thus scared to try it, but then
again, sometimes I wonder the credibility of this person's advice. Usually, it
is dead on the money accurate, and I do mean, dead! on, but once in a blue moon
they pannick over things which I kind of wonder why they do.

          Chris,

I use it, and think that it is very good… Nicely backing up in the
background, silently standing by to save the day should that day arrive.

I think its very cost effective peace of mind.

              Hi,

I believe its in Home/user/library/mail. The library is hidden
in Lion and mountain lion so, from the finder press command shift G, and type
in ~/library and press enter. That should take you to the user library.
