First of all, I went into Preferences and disabled the warning about add-ons. But I still did have a dialog of some kind. Of course my memory of what I did was fresher when I wrote the post so probably you should goo find it and see what I said. Siorry but that's why I wrote it then because I knew I probably wouldn't remember it later. -- Cheryl May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. I could have sworn he had a Twitter account. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. He did test it and he can't even log in, let alone much navigate the site. Do I have to constantly keep grabbing the nightly builds, or will they update on their own. I guess it's back to the web and Google for me to find the nightly build as now you have me curious. When you did install Web Visum, do you recall how you got to the allow button? I sort a think I remember you saying you don't recall, or was that someone else who said that? But when I installed webvisum I was back on version 16 (I think 16.1 or 16.01). The reason I was back on that version was that I had been running both the stable version and the nightlies and really meant to use the nightly to add webvisum but ran the version 16 instead. They are now both updated so I'm running 22.0a1 in the nightlies and 16.0 in stable versions Btw once you have webvisum installed, the webvisum add-on loads no matter what version you pull up; I love the little snap sound it makes when you start firefox and webvisum loads. In all the cases of firefox i've used over the last few days: version 16, 19, 22) text enters fine from the webvisum website (since that was the one Ray was having trouble with specifically) by tabbing and typing. You will hear what field you are on when you tab but won't hear what you are typing. But when you use vo-keys and check you will find the text is entered. As you are tabbing and typing, you may hear something about firefox (or nightly) having new window but it still types in the fields. If that doesn't work, then there must be some differing variable with settings across machines but at least in my case, this is working consistently no matter what version of firefox I run. So the problem with not being able to enter text may or may not actually be a firefox problem. That isn't to say there isn't a problem; all of us have probably seen situations where some people had a particular problem and others didn't. But as far as the Chase site goes, I don't any longer have an account there but I did go there and try to navigate and I also got busy signals. -- Cheryl May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. The general browsing experience seems more or less okay: however, entering text in to the boxes which require information to request an invitation is a bit hit and miss. Once you figured it out though, it's not impossibly bad. For me, at least, I get to what looks like the first text box and it calls itself a list box. Ineracting with this, I find two groups. It's the second of these two you want to enteract with. Doing so will let you type in what ever text is being asked for. Bear in mind that I've only just begun to sort of play with this: So, perhaps Teresa or those others of y'all who use Firefox can give me pointers where I might perhaps be going wrong. Anyhow, I got the invitation request sent off okay. I note that Firefox keeps saying, "Firefox has new window" quite a bit, however, upon examineing the window choices via VO+F2, I find but one window visible. Oh, BTW, in order to enter text in to that invitation request form, I had to press the link to revert the font style to the default. Not quiet as seemless as it really ought to be, but, Teresa and Chris appear to be pretty much correct. With respect to the prefs window, it seems a little strange. You have to press space on the verious pref tabs for each one to come up correctly, but, that's nothing to get used to. That seems abaout it for now from me on this one.
