NP, and again, I apologize for maybe coming across rudely. I admittedly wasn't
in a very good mood this morning, due to family situations which I'm sure you
all've been made aware. With my uncle just passing last week, things have been
really hectic around here, so if I do seem a bit under the hot collar, don't
take it personally.

Yes you did provide the link and thank you for that. You did however come
across as being aggravated at having to do so which is why I said what I did.
I hadn't realized that a new beta had come out. I hadn't been tracking the
betas on Firefox so I thought the quickest way to get the info was to ask the
group.

In any case I've installed the latest Firefox and I'll have to play around
with it some now.
So thanks again for the link and we'll leave it as no offense meant none
taken.
If that suits you it suits me as well.
So as Douglas MacArthur said "these proceedings are closed"!
Thanks and glad to have gotten it straightened out.
PS I signed up for their news letter so I should be getting info regularly
now.

I think you mistakened my tone. I wasn't meaning to be unhelpful or the
like. Nor did I mean to imply I was in your word, troubled… I'd rather you
ask questions and get the help that you need. After all I did provide you the
link again, did I not? If I was really troubled and wanting to be a jerk about
it, I wouldn't have even done that. I would a just either not responded at
all, or would have done so, and said figure it out on your own. That isn't
what I did though. I gave you the link did I not?

    http://www.mozilla.org/beta

In fact, I'll do you one even better. Here's the direct dmg,

http://www.mozilla.org/products/download.html?product=firefox-20.0b1&os=osx&lang=en-US

That should bring up a sourceforege page which will start your download
automatically.

Alas, I'm sorry that you were offended by my message, but frankly, I just
was trying to help. I just don't like repeating myself, and frankly, you and
about literally 5 or so others off list wrote me asking where to get it. If it
was only you, that's one thing, but when I very clearly post the link, and
them have you and about 4 others bombard me might I add of which about half of
those other 4 responded directly to the exact e-mail with the link only to ask
me for the URL… I'm sorry, but that's pathetic. No hard feelings meant. It's
all good.

Well I missed your post sorry. I hadn't expected a working firefox so
soon so I might have ignored it.
I won't trouble you with questions any more!

As I already said, go get the version 20 beta from

I don't post links to web site like this for no reason. It's really
not that hard to find. Also, Google is your friend.

What version are you folks using? I downloaded the latest Firefox
build on the Mozilla website which is from Feb. 15.
I assume since this thread started this morning there must be a later
update somewhere?
          How might someone find it?

I agree it's great news that we now have more choices. However, I'm
curious, does it do anything that Safari cannot or work with VoiceOver better
than Safari does? I'd happily take a more accessible, though slightly slower,
browser. I don't find Safari on my Macs particularly slow. It might be worth
using FireFox just for WebVisum though.
