Well, I don't know much about anti-virus solutions, but I tried Clam and was 
very impressed. There's a table of locations to be searched, and a table of 
threats that appear during a scan. Once you set your quarantine folder, you 
just scan, wait for it to finish, and go clear out that folder assuming all the 
files are actual viruses. There are a few unlabeled buttons, but they have help 
tags so you can label them easily enough. Besides, it's free, and you can't 
beat that.
