Hello Blake, Thanks for your suggestion about the four-finger tap at the bottom of the screen. It is a big help. However, I must have large fingers because I can't always squeeze all four of them onto the iPhone when it is in portrait mode. Even after going into the VO training section and practicing quite a bit, my phone frequently registered three fingers, not four, although it sure did feel as if four fingers were touching the glass part of the phone. I may have to get used to using WhatsApp in landscape mode.
Thanks again, Mike On 18,Feb,2013, at 6:25 PM, Blake Sinnett <frequency...@hotmail.com> wrote: > Hello, > > You could try doing a 4-fingered tap near the bottom of the screen, Then > flick left to go from the bottom up. > > Blake > > -------------------------------------------------- > From: "Mike Busboom" <mbusb...@gmail.com> > Sent: Monday, February 18, 2013 11:21 AM > To: <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> > Subject: Navigating through long message threads in WhatsApp > >> Hi. >> >> Several friends and associates correspond with me using WhatsApp. I have an >> iPhone 4S and, although the interface isn't comfortable for me, it is >> important that I stay in touch with these people. >> >> In one particular situation, I do not wish to erase any of the dialogue I am >> having, because this person's communication with me is a partial chronicling >> of a friendship that is very, very important in my life.
