When on the bookmark in the table, press VO-SHIFT-M to open the context menu, then press O to navigate to open and press enter or VO-SPACE.
You can also copy all those bookmarks from whatever imported folder they are in, and paste them into the Bookmarks Menu folder. That way you can access them from the bookmarks menu in the menu bar in Safari.
