are these installer files showing as "volumes"? If so, I'm sure you know you can "eject" these volumes with Command-E and they go away.

Hi there,
I have tried both command delete and command shift delete and neither seems to work.
Thanks,

Randy, try command-shift-Delete. That should place the file into the trash folder and you can then delete it from there.

Hi Again,

So sorry for all of my questions tonight. I have a few installer programs on my desktop, VLC, Adobe, ETC, which I'm not able to remove with the standard command + delete keystroke…is there another method which I need to use to accomplish this task?

Thanks Again,
Randy
