VO-J can also be used • in Skype and Messages to jump between the conversation HTML area and the edit field to type instant messages; • in NewsRack to jump between the table of feeds, the table of articles and the HTML area displaying the selected article; and • In Finder to jump between the sidebar and browser.
I'm sure there's many more but those are just a few. Basically if an app has one list or table which changes the content of some other area or list then VO-J will probably work to jump between these two. You don't need to have interacted to use VO-J and it automatically interacts with the "linked" item. Unfortunately VO-SHIFT-J doesn't work to jump backwards.
