In general, I have had good results with Quick Nav. I have only used it with HTML areas. It doesn't make much sense to use it elsewhere particularly when arrow keys are pressed in a list or table like the message list in Mail or a twitter timeline, etc. I have also discovered Quick Nav turning off when entering into password fields. I actually like that aspect but it should be consistent.
All and all, I like how Quick Nav works for me in Mountain Lion and am not really aware of bugs with it.
